Spotlight on Financial Empowerment
Kristen, Founder
Kristen is a Community Builder
Kristen contains multitudes. She is both healer and warrior and embodies the convergence of those two opposing concepts with unique grace. She’s spent her life holding space for opposing concepts most visible in the juxtaposition of her clinical social work background and her Kali, Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu expertise (aka badass warrior). She now uses her knowledge to create deeply healing spaces for people who need it, particularly Filipinas in the diaspora.
Our Work
Financial empowerment is personal and deeply emotional. There are pragmatic implementation steps to be taken, but for change to last, the integration of money values and habits require assessment. Our work dove deeply into these foundations taking special care of the habits and mentalities that often get shared and passed down from immigrant parents. The deep exploration into habit creation allowed us to understand the requirements of creating space where abundance mentality would flourish.
